We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and motivated individual who is ready to make a real difference in the lives of our students. The ideal candidate will support teachers in adapting lessons, nurture student independence, and contribute to a caring, inclusive learning environment. St Lawrence has a modern, spacious school hall, a large school kitchen, a children's kitchen, a specialist learning hub and a newly extended library area with additional learning space for small group work. St Lawrence also has impressive outside facilities with a fantastic school field which includes an orchard, and an allotment area all of which are used during our Forest School sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering and evaluating learning programs, adapting materials to meet pupils' individual needs.
- Provide one‑on‑one and group support for students, including physical, emotional, and educational assistance.
- Maintain a safe and organized learning environment, supporting pupils’ well‑being and fostering their independence.
- Undertake personal care routines, if required, and contribute to activity planning.
What We’re Looking For
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills (e.g., GCSE English and Maths or equivalent).
- Enthusiasm, good listening skills, and an ability to follow instructions.
- Basic IT skills and understanding of Health & Safety regulations.

Training will be provided, so prior experience is not essential, however an interest in 'Bringing out the Best' in every student/pupil in their learning outcomes.
