St Laurence In Thanet Church of England Junior Academy are looking to appoint a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our friendly site team. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment for pupils, staff and visitors, and be able to adapt to the changing needs of a busy school environment.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Cleaning classrooms, offices and communal areas
- Hoovering, sweeping and mopping floors
- Cleaning toilets and wash areas
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
- Using cleaning equipment and products safely
- Adapting cleaning tasks as required to meet the needs of the school
The ideal candidate:
- Be hardworking, dependable and trustworthy
- Have good attention to detail
- Be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
Additional information:
This post is for 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3:30pm-5:30pm term time only (38 weeks).
