St Laurence Church Junior School is looking for exceptional Grade 3 Teaching Assistants, who have experience working with SEND. The role is for 30 hours per week and on a term time only basis.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is nurturing and caring
  • is empathetic and has a passionate approach to working with children
  • is proactive, flexible and willing
  • has the ability to build a rapport with disengaged students
  • is confident in working with students with challenging behaviour
  • has a passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning
  • has the ability and experience to run small group interventions
  • can liaise with teachers, SENDCO and parents
  • has experience or an understanding of working with children with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties or learning difficulties, SEMH and trauma
