Due to maternity leave, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our growing team at St Kitts Veterinary Group. This role is flexible, with both full-time and part-time considered (for the right candidate).
Location: Church Crookham
Salary: £35-£75K dependant on experience
About us: We’re an independent group of four modern, well-equipped small animal practices situated across North Hampshire, with easy access to London and the South Coast. Our close-knit team of friendly and skilled individuals provide the highest standards of comprehensive veterinary treatment and service to our clients, ensuring that much-loved pets receive the most expert and compassionate care.
All of our practices are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including:
- CT scanner (at our Basingstoke clinic)
- Digital x-rays
- Dental x-rays
- Ultrasound equipment
- Flexible endoscopes and gastroscopes
- Operating theatre
- Large prep room
- In-house lab
- Separate cat and dog wards including an added isolation suite
- 3 consultation rooms
We are multi-site certificate holders and many of our vets have keen interests and expertise in areas such as dermatology, acupuncture, cardiology, ultrasound, surgery, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, exotics and reptiles. We are also a cat-friendly certified clinic!
About the role: We are looking for someone who is RCVS qualified, competent in clinical examination and surgery, and is confident consulting with clients to help maintain our excellent reputation. With a varied and interesting caseload, you will be supported by our proficient nursing team of RVNs and SVNs, and our highly experienced receptionists.
We encourage a healthy work-life balance, with no night duties or OOH, 6 weeks paid holiday and a generous CPD allowance. We also actively support and encourage pursuing areas of clinical interest and studying for certificates. This role can include a mix of early and late finishes and a share of the weekend rota.
