As a Support Worker at St Jude's Care, you will work flexibly across up to three homes, providing compassionate, person‑centred support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism. The role is live‑in and involves 2‑week placements that offer variety while maintaining continuity of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide practical and emotional support in line with individual support plans.
- Encourage independence and help people develop daily living skills.
- Support routines, activities and community involvement.
- Promote positive communication and use appropriate support strategies.
- Assist individuals in managing their emotional well‑being and behaviour positively.
- Maintain accurate records and collaborate with the wider care team.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism (e.g., social care settings) is essential.
- Understanding of positive behaviour support and communication needs.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to work every other weekend.
