At St Jude’s Care, our Care Assistants make a real difference – bringing comfort, companionship and confidence to people in their own homes. We are currently recruiting for our evening shifts: 1600 or 1700 until 2200, where you'll be supporting someone with their daily needs, medication, meals, and wellbeing. We're looking for kind-hearted individuals who have a passion for making a difference. No experience required; all you need is compassion and a full driving licence.

What the role includes:

  • Visit clients and provide support in their own homes in the evenings (1600/1700 to 2200) and weekends between 0800 and 2200
  • Prompt or administer medication in line with care plans
  • Prepare meals and support hydration and nutrition
  • Provide companionship, reassurance and emotional support
  • Travel between clients using our company pool car
