St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Hartlepool is looking to appoint a Wraparound Assistant. As a Wraparound Assistant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and engaging activities for pupils outside of standard school hours - typically before and after the school day. This role is ideal for someone who is nurturing, energetic, and committed to supporting children's wellbeing in a safe, fun, and structured environment.

You will work as part of a dedicated team to deliver a range of activities that promote social interaction, creativity, and physical development. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Preparing and serving snacks
  • Supervising play and enrichment activities
  • Supporting homework or quiet time
  • Ensuring the safety and welfare of all children in your care

Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to build trusting relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues are essential. You’ll also be expected to follow safeguarding procedures and contribute to maintaining a welcoming and inclusive wraparound provision.
