We are seeking to appoint a Teaching & Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated SEND team. This role will primarily support pupils within the English department, with a particular focus on learners with English as an Additional Language (EAL). The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to provide targeted support, helping pupils to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities
- Support pupils within the English department, especially those with EAL.

- Assist in implementing inclusive practice and safeguarding measures as required.
Qualifications
- Good educational background with GCSE or equivalent in English Language.
- Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
- Previous experience of working with EAL pupils.
- Understanding of the education system and how children learn.
- Sound grasp of inclusive practice, confidentiality, safeguarding and child protection issues.
