Responsibilities
- Support children and young people to actively participate and be involved in a varied menu of play opportunities and activities.
- Work alongside other staff involved in lunch time supervision.
- Liaise with teachers where necessary in order to support appropriate play opportunities for targeted children.
- Be responsible for monitoring a safe working environment.
- Report all accidents and incidents to the appropriate bodies.
- Keep the play areas clean and tidy during sessions, and clear up fully at the end of each day.
- Direct and supervise children to and from the dining area.
- Supervise children whilst collecting food and eating.
- Supervise children in the playground, lunchtime area and in the classrooms.
- Attend relevant job-related training.
