The governors of St. Joseph's Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an Out of School Club Manager to lead and work in our thriving 45 place Before and After School Club. There may also be the opportunity for ad hoc Teaching Assistant hours.
The successful candidate will be fully committed to safeguarding the children in our care and will adhere to our rigorous Safeguarding and Child Protection policy and procedures, as well as our Health and Safety Policy and procedures. They will ensure that all OOSC staff do so too.
- Has experience of working with 4 - 11 year olds and is familiar with the EYFS.
- Has excellent organisational and IT skills.
- Is able to lead and manage a team to deliver excellent childcare provision.
- Has a good understanding of child development and positive behaviour strategies.
- Is hardworking, resilient and professional, both orally and in writing.
- Is a team player with excellent leadership skills with the drive and determination to develop staff and the OOSC itself.
- Has excellent communication skills with good use of English to ensure the well-being of children in our care.
