From 1 July 2026, we are looking to appoint a reliable, hard working cleaner to undertake general cleaning duties. We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, is able to work independently and is well organised.

The role is a permanent contract for 15 hours per week, 3 hours a day on a split shift from 6:30-8am and 3:30-5pm Monday to Friday during term time plus 3 weeks during school holidays for deep cleaning (usually 1 week during the Easter break and 2 weeks in the Summer Holidays). No formal qualifications are required, as training will be provided.

We are strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Fishponds is in easy reach of Bristol's city centre while being near to local parks as well as a wide variety of local shops including Morrisons, Lidl and Aldi. Transport links including the M32, the Bristol to Bath Cycle Path and local bus services are also very close to the school. There is plenty of on-road parking. The school has a wonderfully diverse community which makes us both unique and special.
