We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School. Working under the guidance of the Headteacher and other designated professionals, you will play a key role in supporting the education, wellbeing, and development of a pupil with special educational needs.
The successful candidate will help meet the pupil’s educational, medical, and social needs, while encouraging independence and promoting positive outcomes in all aspects of school life.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is committed to supporting children with additional needs.
- Has a caring, patient, and positive approach.
- Shares and supports the values and ethos of the school.
- Is willing to undertake relevant training and professional development.
- Previous experience of working with children with complex needs would be highly desirable.
