The HR Operations Assistant will play a key role in providing excellent customer service to the organisation with all HR administration, helping to contribute to an excellent HR service delivery to our key stakeholders. This is a great opportunity for someone who is methodical, reliable and passionate about delivering a great service and has a keen interest in Human Resource Management and developing an expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the HR team across all HR activities
- Responsible for handling first line queries, escalating more complex queries where necessary
- Maintain and update employee records and HR systems
- Assist with recruitment processes, including adverts and preparing documentation
- Process HR documentation such as contracts, pre-employment checks, letters and amendments
- Assist with employee data changes and payroll administration
- Respond to employee queries and provide general HR guidance
- Support the HR team with organising meetings and taking minutes in relation to grievances, disciplinary issues etc.
- Support the HR team to maintain and keep up to date all relevant HR policies.
- Generate and provide HR data to support decision making and improve HR processes.
- Demonstrate a genuine commitment to provide excellent customer service whether to colleagues, patients or external stakeholders.
- Use internal and external HR software to manage staff, DBS, professional registrations and mandatory training information.
Person Specification
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or willing to work towards
- 5 GCSE's or above including Maths and English
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous experience in Healthcare
- Experience in minute taking
- Knowledge of HR systems
- Basic understanding of employment law
