About the job role: St Joseph's Hospice has a brilliant vacancy for a Specialist Palliative Care Physician at either Consultant or Lead Consultant level, dependent on experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant difference to the palliative and end of life care experiences of our wonderfully diverse and extensive local communities. The post holder will influence the shape of palliative medicine and hospice care in one of the oldest and largest hospices in England.
About you: You will need:
- Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practice and entry on the GMC Specialist Register in Palliative Medicine, or eligibility for entry within six months of interview.
- Experience of specialist palliative and end of life care at Consultant level or senior training level.
- MRCP (UK) or equivalent Royal College qualification.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience of teaching and supporting healthcare professionals.
