As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting pupils in their learning during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will facilitate a calm and productive classroom environment, ensuring pupils are engaged and supported in completing the work set by their teacher. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a passion for education and a desire to inspire young people.
Key Duties Include:
- Supervising classes and delivering pre-set work in the absence of a teacher.
- Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining classroom discipline.
- Supporting pupils to stay on task and achieve their best.
- Assisting with extra-curricular activities, events and wider school life.
- Providing supervision during breaks, lunchtimes and school events.
