The Governors are looking for two enthusiastic and friendly Teaching Assistants to join our Catholic primary school at St Joseph’s, Otley. We are looking for individuals to provide support to children with additional needs as well as general classroom support. Experience is desirable but not essential.
We are looking for Teaching Assistants who have numeracy and literacy skills grade 4 or above (or equivalent level) and who are:
- Caring, patient and intuitive to the needs of the child to enable them to access the curriculum as designated by the teacher.
- Able to communicate effectively with pupils and staff.
- Flexible in approach and able to adapt to working with both groups and individual pupils.
- Willing to help with activities both in the classroom and across the school.
- Professional, responsible and aware of the need to maintain confidentiality.
- Supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school.
