We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Head Teacher - Inclusion Leader - to join our ambitious leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, passionate and highly skilled professional to make a profound and lasting impact on the lives of children, families and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic development of inclusion across the school, ensuring an ambitious vision aligned with our School Development Plan
  • Champion high quality teaching, tailored support and effective interventions to meet diverse pupil needs
  • Oversee statutory and strategic responsibilities related to the SEND Code of Practice, Equality Act 2010, safeguarding and the wellbeing of all pupils
  • Work collaboratively with staff, families, external agencies and governors to secure strong progress for vulnerable groups
  • Line manage and develop the inclusion and support staff team, promoting a culture of professional excellence and reflective practice
  • Lead the strategic use of Pupil Premium to improve outcomes
  • Serve as a Designated Safeguarding Lead and the Designated Teacher for Looked After Children
  • Promote a positive, inclusive ethos where every pupil is supported to succeed and flourish
