This is a full-time, permanent teaching post at St John's and St Peter's C of E Primary, a one-form entry school of 210 pupils in the heart of Ladywood, Birmingham. We serve a rich, diverse community and we're proud of it. Our children deserve the best, and we're looking for a teacher who believes that too.

You'll be joining a team that works hard, supports each other, and is genuinely committed to getting the best outcomes for every child. In this role, you'll be:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons across the curriculum
  • Building strong, positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
  • Using assessment effectively to track progress and adapt your teaching
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school, including enrichment, trips and whole-school events
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and external professionals
  • Meeting the needs of a diverse cohort, including pupils with SEND and EAL

  • Holds QTS and has experience teaching in a primary setting
  • Has high expectations of every child, regardless of starting point
  • Is reflective, open to feedback, and committed to their own development
  • Understands or is willing to learn about the challenges and strengths of an urban, inner-city community
