St John’s Mosley Common C.E. Primary School is seeking to appoint three Level 2 Teaching Assistants who will provide one-to-one and small group support to individual pupils in the EYFS (Reception), KS1 and KS2.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting individual pupils with communication and interaction, social and emotional wellbeing, and concentration and motivation skills.
  • Managing behaviour with positive reinforcement and constructive feedback.
  • Delivering Speech & Language programmes and English and Maths interventions.
  • Providing feedback to the class teacher on children’s progress.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience working with children with difficulties in communication, interaction, social and emotional wellbeing, and concentration/motivation.
  • Excellent behaviour management skills, including positive reinforcement and feedback.
  • Good English and Maths skills.
  • Experience delivering Speech & Language programmes and English and Maths interventions.
  • Experience of feeding back to the class teacher regarding children’s progress.

All applicants should demonstrate the ability to work independently, flexibility to respond to the child’s and class teacher’s needs, a caring nature, and teamwork ability.

Additional Information:
