Our dynamic income generation team ensure all Hospice events are delivered to secure the wellbeing of patients, carers and their families. Our Co-ordinators are integral to the smooth running of all events, including our upcoming special events to celebrate 40 years of care and various local community events.

As a highly competent administrator with excellent interpersonal and communication skills you will provide administrative and event preparation support to the Fundraising team. Based in the fundraising office at St Johns Hospice you will handle telephone, email, social media and face-to-face enquiries, demonstrating excellent customer service. You will also support online initiatives, including working with fundraising platforms, the Hospice website and online shop to ensure events and donations are accurately managed and promoted to supporters. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, has an eye for detail and loves working with people. This is a 2-year fixed term role where you will provide additional support to our dedicated and experienced income generation team.

  • Hours: 28 per week with flexibility to cover evenings and weekends where required to support events
  • Role Type: Fixed term until 31st March 2028
  • Pay: £18,986.24 – £19,568.64 (based on 28 hours per week, dependent on pension scheme)
  • Holiday: 27 days plus usual bank holidays pro rata (7 weeks per annum)
  • Pension: St John’s Hospice Pension Scheme (St John’s pays an 8% employer contribution) or NHS Pension may be continued subject to eligibility
  • Closing Date: Sunday 22 February 2026
