This role is crucial in supporting the work of the Hospice to meet the highest standards of governance and compliance, which are innate to our services. You will need to support and work alongside all Hospice teams to achieve this at every level.
As a member of the Management Team, you will be responsible for developing a proactive and robust clinical quality, safety, infection prevention and control, and governance framework that enables St John’s to measure and continually improve the quality of its clinical services.
Excellent interpersonal, IT, analytical, and organisational skills are essential for this position. This is an opportunity to use your drive, compassion, and expertise to make a real difference to the care we provide to our patients and their loved ones.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check. The cost of this check is currently £54.30, which will be deducted from the successful applicant’s first salary payment.
Salary: £36,644.40 – £37,783.20 per annum (based on 30 hours/week, dependent on pension scheme)
Benefits include holiday entitlement and pension options:
- St John’s Hospice Pension Scheme (St John’s pays an 8% employer contribution)
- NHS Pension may be continued, subject to eligibility
