St Johns College, one of the largest Colleges within the University of Cambridge, is seeking to appoint a General Catering Assistant (Platewash) to support the smooth running of the College kitchens by maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic working environment. This includes washing cutlery, crockery, glassware and kitchen equipment, cleaning the platewash area and surrounding spaces, and carrying out general kitchen portering duties. You will also remove waste safely and follow Food Safety, Health and Safety, and Fire Regulations at all times, while assisting colleagues as needed to ensure an efficient service.
