Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Functions Manager located in Cambridge. The Functions Manager will be responsible for organizing and coordinating a range of college functions and events. Duties include planning event logistics, managing event budgets, coordinating with vendors and college staff, overseeing event setup and breakdown, and ensuring all events run smoothly. The Functions Manager will also be in charge of maintaining high standards of service and ensuring all events adhere to college policies and regulations.

• Event Planning, Logistics Coordination, and Vendor Management skills
• Experience in Budget Management and Financial Planning
• Strong Organizational and Administrative skills
• Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills
• Problem-Solving and Decision-Making abilities
• Leadership and Team Management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Flexible and able to handle multiple priorities
• Experience in a similar role within an educational institution is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
