St John’s College, one of the largest Colleges within the University of Cambridge, is seeking to appoint a Deputy Linen Room Supervisor. The postholder works alongside the Supervisor each day and deputises in their absence. They help ensure the housekeeping team operates smoothly and that daily tasks are completed to the required standard.
The role involves training and supporting bedmakers so that bedrooms, offices and public areas are cleaned and maintained consistently. The postholder monitors standards and provides guidance where additional support is needed. The postholder also contributes to delivering an efficient and reliable housekeeping service for members of St John’s College, their guests and visitors. This includes helping the team maintain a high standard of cleanliness across College accommodation and shared spaces.
