We are looking for a SENDco who:
- Currently holds the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination or is willing to undertake training to achieve the qualification.
- Is committed to ensuring the best possible outcomes for all children.
- Has the ability to lead staff in developing their knowledge and expertise in working with SEND children.
- Can manage and develop programmes of work for pupils who require targeted intervention.
- Can implement a range of strategies engaging and extending all pupils who have identified needs.
- Is able to communicate well with colleagues, parents and children.
- Is able to coordinate liaisons between school staff, parents and outside agencies.
- Has the ability to work under pressure with calmness and a sense of humour.
