We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, calm, and well-organised teaching assistant to support our committed and hardworking team in a primary school environment. You will help children learn and progress through a team-based approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children’s learning and development in a primary school setting.
  • Create a caring, nurturing environment where children can learn from mistakes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to implement the school’s vision and values.

Qualifications

  • Recent experience working with children in a primary school setting.
  • Strong communication, organisational and classroom support skills.
  • Calm, patient, and enthusiastic approach.

Working Conditions & Benefits

  • Working hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.
  • Permanent contract, term time only plus school training days per year.
  • All Teaching Assistants receive continuing professional learning (CPL) opportunities.
  • Wellness services and professional learning opportunities are provided.
  • Salary: DSAT2 SCP4-6: £25,185 – £25,989 (FTE). Actual: £19,028 pa – £19,635 pa.
