About the Role
As an Administration Officer, you will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors and staff, providing a professional and warm front of house service. You will support the day‑to‑day administrative functions of the school, helping ensure an efficient and effective learning environment for our pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing reception duties and handling enquiries in person, by telephone and email
- Maintaining accurate pupil records and school databases
- Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting
- Coordinating communications with parents, staff and external agencies
- Assisting with finance, admissions and general administrative tasks
- Supporting school events and day‑to‑day operations
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy office environment and wants to make a positive difference in a school setting.
We Are Looking for Someone Who
- Is organised, proactive and able to manage a varied workload
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is confident using IT systems and school databases (e.g. Bromcom or similar)
- Can work independently as well as part of a team
- Demonstrates professionalism, confidentiality and a commitment to safeguarding
