We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for two class teachers to join our growing school community. We are seeking to appoint one KS1 teacher and one KS2 teacher to become part of our caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated staff team. At St. John’s, we are on an exciting and ambitious journey towards becoming a thriving one-form entry school.
As part of this transformation, a stunning new two-storey building is currently under development and is due for completion in Summer 2026. This inspiring new space will provide state‑of‑the‑art classrooms designed to nurture creativity, collaboration, and high‑quality learning experiences for all pupils. The new development will also include a fantastic food technology room, giving children exciting opportunities to develop practical life skills and a love of cooking, alongside a beautiful woodland library area designed to inspire reading, imagination, and outdoor learning.

Alongside St. John’s CE, Thornham the Trust is made up of primary and secondary schools across Oldham and Rochdale. This position will be based at St. John’s CE, Thornham but may from time to time require travel as necessary to collaborate with other schools which are all locally based.
