St John’s CE Primary School is looking to appoint 2 Teaching Assistants to support SEND children within the school.
Salary: Grade 3, £16,115 per annum (£13.26 per hour).
Working hours: 27.5 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks + 3 days per year. Temporary until 31st August 2027, required to start September 2026.
The successful candidate will:
- Have the skills and understanding to provide excellent support for children whilst encouraging their independence and individual development.
- Support the Headteacher and staff in providing high standards for the children at the school.
- Be confident, committed and hard-working.
- Be a team player.
- Be approachable on a professional level.
- Be enthusiastic and willing to make a positive contribution to the school.
- Contribute to the strong Christian ethos of our school.
- Be able to develop good relationships with pupils, parents, staff and stakeholders.
- Undertake other duties as outlined in the job description.
- Have the opportunity to work additional hours within our After School Club team.
