About this Role

Working Pattern: 21.25 hours per week. Pattern of hours to be agreed over the week Monday - Friday (Tuesday is 8.15 am start to attend the team meeting) term-time, including Inset days.

We are seeking a caring, hardworking, and enthusiastic individual to join our committed staff team, who have high aspirations for themselves and our children, a passion for learning, are proactive and dependable, have strong interpersonal skills, and have a positive outlook.

To work with the Senco lead teachers as part of a professional team to support learning activities for classes. The primary focus will be to work under the direction of the SENCO and Headteacher to support the SENCO in undertaking their duties.

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Be passionate about securing positive outcomes for children.
  • Be highly motivated, organised, and flexible in the way you work to best meet children's needs.
  • Be an effective communicator, highly skilled in building positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and professionals.
  • Be able to utilise planning and resourcing when covering a class.
  • Be reliable, flexible, and willing to support the school in moving children's learning on.
