We are seeking an enthusiastic Educational Healthcare Assistant to join our team and provide educational, personal care and healthcare support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with complex learning, physical and medical needs.
Working alongside teachers, therapists, healthcare professionals and families, you will play a vital role in helping pupils access learning, develop independence, build confidence and achieve their full potential.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 and small‑group basis.
- Assisting with learning activities and adapting support to meet individual needs.
- Providing personal care with dignity, sensitivity and respect.
- Supporting pupils with healthcare needs and administering medication following appropriate training.
- Promoting positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and inclusion.
- Working collaboratively with school staff, families and external professionals.
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to a safe and nurturing environment.
