We are seeking an experienced UCC Doctor to join our busy, well-supported UCC at The Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth.

This is a unique opportunity to practice acute medicine in a fast-paced environment while contributing directly to a charitable mission, as hospital surplus is reinvested into patient care, staff development, and our onsite Hospice.

The Urgent Care Clinic is open 7 days a week (8am to 8pm week days and 8am to 6pm weekend) and BH and closed at night.

  • A & E experience
  • Paediatric experience
  • Ongoing training and commitment to development.
  • Evidence of CPD

What are the Responsibilities of this UCC Doctor role?

  • Maintain a personal professional profile.
  • Adhere to GMC code of practice and ethics.
  • Support the team in achieving objectives of the department.
  • Participate in personal development planning and access training as appropriate or deemed necessary/ mandatory by the hospital to improve service provision.
  • Demonstrate a high standard of clinical skills.
  • Support UCC manager by participating in team building and development.
  • Deputise for the clinical lead in their absence.
  • Document an accurate and methodical account of the client’s journey and use departmental electronic records resources appropriately
  • Ensure the efficient medical management of casualty cases
  • Treat patients in a courteous and professional manner at all times
