We are seeking to appoint an innovative,ambitious and enthusiastic teacher to teach in our Religious Education andHumanities departments. It will be roughly equal weighting across the twodisciplines so all specialisms are considered. RE and Humanities are bothincredibly popular at St John Henry Newman Catholic School. All students sitGCSE RE and in Sixth Form we offer General RE and an A-level in ReligiousStudies, Philosophy and Ethics. In Humanities, both History and Geographyremain popular as GCSE choices and we offer A-levels in both subjects. Thesuccessful candidate will have the ability to work across both faculties (atvarying levels depending on specialism) and promote critical thinking, culturalawareness and analytical skills.
