We are seeking to appoint an Educational Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated support team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students' learning, progress, and wellbeing across the school. As student numbers continue to grow, we are looking to strengthen our support provision to ensure all learners receive the best possible experience.

St John Fisher Catholic Voluntary Academy is an 11-18 voluntary aided academy with approximately 1,000 students on roll. We are a Catholic school with a strong sense of community, where students are polite, respectful, and supportive of one another. Our staff are committed professionals who work together to improve outcomes and life chances for all young people. The school has recently undergone a period of significant improvement and continues to focus on raising standards and achieving high performance for all students. We are proud of the progress made and remain committed to ongoing development. Following our recent Ofsted inspection in March 2025, we are continuing to build on this positive trajectory and strengthen our provision for students.
Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time plus one additional day. The additional day may include scheduled after‑school sessions throughout the year.
Pay Scale & Salary: Grade 6, Point 7-11: £25,584 - £27,269 FTE Actual Salary: £19,535.43 - £21,581.63 per annum.
