The successful candidate will ideally commence on 1 January 2027, although an earlier start date would be welcomed if available. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join and further develop the SEND provision at St John Fisher. As SENDCo, you will play a key role in ensuring that all students with additional needs receive the support, challenge and opportunities they need to thrive. You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner who can demonstrate a track record of raising standards and, importantly, inspire young people to be confident, resilient and ambitious in their learning. You will have high expectations for our young people, staff and wider community, underpinned by our Catholic ethos and values.
St John Fisher Catholic Voluntary Academy is an 11-18 school serving its local community. As part of our commitment to inclusion and excellence, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to further shape and develop our SEND provision, working closely with Academy and Trust leaders to ensure that every student achieves their full potential. We welcome applications from experienced SEND practitioners as well as those looking to undertake the National Professional Qualification for SEND Leadership.
