We are seeking a passionate and committed teacher to lead and deliver high-quality provision for EAL learners, ensuring they can access the curriculum, develop English language proficiency, and achieve their full potential. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting and developing EAL provision across the school. The successful candidate will combine high-quality teaching within an EAL base with targeted intervention, assessment, and whole‑school support. You will also contribute to inclusive classroom practice and the development of the school's EAL strategy. You will be committed to high expectations for all learners and to creating an inclusive environment where every student can thrive, underpinned by the school's Catholic vision: "Christ at the centre, children at the heart." Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and targeted interventions for EAL learners
- Support language acquisition through structured scaffolding and vocabulary development
- Assess, track, and monitor EAL learner progress
- Support induction, transition, and integration of new EAL students
- Work with staff to develop inclusive teaching strategies
- Contribute to whole‑school EAL provision and strategy
- Liaise with families, SEND, and other relevant colleagues
