• Teach KS3 Art and Design
• Where required, teach KS4 and KS5 Fine Art
• Where required, teach KS4 Three-dimensionaldesign
• Plan and deliver engaging and well-structuredlessons in line with the department’s schemes of learning that enable studentsof all abilities to be challenged and make progress
• Foster creativity, technical confidence andindependence through the delivery of innovative lessons
• Support students in developing confidence to experimentwith a range of ideas, materials and processes
• Provide thoughtful guidance and feedback thatsupports progress and encourages personal exploration, particularly at keystages 4 and 5
• Contribute to department displays, exhibitions,extra-curricular activities and relevant whole school events
• Work collaboratively within the Art and Designdepartment to contribute to curriculum and assessment development
• Maintain high expectations of studentachievement and engagement in learning
• Organise and maintain a positive and inspiringlearning environment
• Maintain in good order, department resources andmaterials
• Make a significant contribution to raisingstandards of academic attainment in Art and Design
• Demonstrate a thorough and up-to-date knowledgeof the teaching of Art and Design and take account of relevant wider curriculumdevelopments
