  • Scale 3 - Point 5 [Inner London]
  • 34 hours per week
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday – Term time only, including Inset Days (39 weeks)

Role Summary

We are seeking an able, highly motivated, enthusiastic and innovative Teaching Assistant who will be an integral part of the school's dedicated Music team. The main responsibility will be to focus on preparing practical lessons for students, under the direction of the teacher. You must also be able to provide excellent support in class, both with individual students and small groups.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare practical lessons for the Music team.
  • Provide classroom support to individual students and small groups.
  • Assist the teacher in implementing curriculum objectives.
  • Support pupils’ wider development in line with school values.

Qualifications

  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in creative departments within a school environment.
  • Commitment to securing high standards and raising academic attainment for all students.

Professional Development

  • Regular training programme.
  • Access to NVQ qualification for Teaching Assistants.
