The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Job Summary
The Trainer/Assessor plays a vital role in delivering high-quality training and assessments across St John Ambulance, ensuring learners receive a consistent, professional, and engaging experience.
This role supports the organisation’s mission by delivering accredited courses in line with awarding body requirements, while maintaining high standards of compliance, safety, and learner satisfaction. The postholder will also contribute to promoting products and services, supporting continuous improvement, and helping to uphold the organisation’s reputation for excellence in training delivery.
About the Role
As a Trainer/Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering training courses and conducting assessments to a consistently high standard, ensuring all activity aligns with organisational policies and awarding body requirements.
You will manage the full training experience, from preparing training environments and materials to engaging with learners and completing all required documentation accurately and on time. You will also ensure that all equipment is maintained, fit for purpose, and handled in line with procedures.
Working collaboratively with permanent staff, casual workers, and volunteers, you will help maintain strong relationships and uphold high standards across all training delivery. You will also play a role in promoting St John Ambulance products and services, supporting new initiatives, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining your own professional competence and continuing development, ensuring your knowledge and delivery remain up to date. You will also adhere to all health and safety requirements, including acting as a designated first aider and fire marshal when required.
