Job Summary
As a Business Analysis Lead you will play a key role in delivering organisation-wide transformation that improves the experience of our employees, volunteers, supporters and customers. You will lead and develop a team of Business Analysts, driving high-quality business analysis standards, best practice and continuous improvement across the organisation. Working closely with senior stakeholders, including the Head of Transformation, you will manage business analysis resource and capacity planning to support strategic priorities and complex change programmes.
Alongside leadership responsibilities, you will lead business analysis activity on your own projects, working across people, processes, systems and data to identify business needs, assess impacts and support the successful delivery of change initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced business analysis professional who can translate complex business and digital requirements into practical solutions that deliver meaningful organisational impact.
About You
You will be an experienced Business Analysis professional with a strong track record of leading analysis activity across complex digital change and transformation programmes. You will bring experience of managing and developing Business Analysts, while working collaboratively with stakeholders across an organisation to understand business needs, identify opportunities for improvement and deliver meaningful change.
You will be confident in gathering and translating business requirements into practical solutions, with experience of process mapping, supporting system implementation and business readiness activities. You will also have experience working with data, reporting dashboards and business intelligence tools, with the ability to use insight to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
With excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, you will be able to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and build strong relationships at all levels. You will be highly organised, analytical and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes to deadlines.
About the Role
- Lead and develop the Business Analysis Centre of Excellence, driving best practice, standards and continuous improvement across SJA
- Develop and maintain business analysis approaches, tools and ways of working to support organisational transformation
- Promote collaboration, innovation and knowledge sharing across DDAT and wider organisational networks
- Coach, manage and develop a team of 3+ Business Analysts from concept through to delivery
- Champion compassionate leadership, inclusion, diversity and the organisation’s HEART values
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and act as a key contact for business change initiatives
- Analyse business processes, systems, data and operational requirements to identify improvement opportunities and support successful change delivery
- Support the development of business cases, change requests and recommendations, including documenting current and future-state processes and defining success measures
