This is an exciting opportunity to join us as a Trainer. You will play a pivotal role in delivering and assessing St John Ambulance courses to the required standards and content. Our courses are highly rated for customer satisfaction because they are the best on the market, delivered by passionate, well-trained, and adaptable trainers in cohesive teams supported by expert advice and guidance.

What we are looking for:

  • Assessing and Training Qualification at Level 3 or above (e.g., CiLD)
  • Experience in teaching, coaching, assessing, or presenting to adults
  • Passionate, adaptable, and engaging individuals
  • Car owner and driver with insurance for business use (mileage paid) or access to suitable public/private transport
  • An enhanced DBS check is required for this role

About the Role:

  • Deliver training courses and assessments to professional standards in accordance with St John Ambulance requirements
  • Maintain subject and professional competence as per organisational standards
  • Building security, venue opening/closing, lone working
  • Collaborate with staff, casual workers, and volunteers to maintain high standards
  • Pilot new training initiatives when needed
  • Complete and submit all relevant course documentation accurately and promptly
