What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensure risk and compliance requirements are consistently maintained to deliver outstanding client outcomes.
  • Highlight potential risks and areas for improvement to the field risk team, supporting proactive oversight of Partner firms.
  • Implement and maintain SJP systems to guarantee that Partners and Advisers align with the FCA’s objectives and the principles of fitness and propriety.
  • Collaborate with a group of Partners and Advisers, focusing on gathering evidence and entering it into Salesforce. This confirms competence and fulfils the annual ADOC requirements.
  • Work alongside other managers in the field team to help Partners and Advisers build the knowledge and skills needed to write, document, and submit business that follows SJP guidelines and meets required standards.
  • Always prioritise excellent client outcomes.
  • Keep your manager and field colleagues up to date on key matters and risks that involve a Partner or Adviser’s business.

  • Experience or exposure to a risk supervision, compliance, risk, or quality assurance environment within financial services.
  • Good understanding of FCA requirements, adviser competence, and Consumer Duty.
  • Ability to review advice quality, identify risks, and provide clear, constructive feedback.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar case management systems.
  • Background in mentoring, training, or supporting development.

Special Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel to connect with Partners and Advisers across different locations.
  • Flexibility to support other regions or projects when required.
