The role
This is a new vacancy to support the Procurement team's administrative and reporting requirements.
You'll provide operational and administrative support to the Procurement function.
The role supports the delivery of efficient, compliant, and value-for-money procurement activities across a range of spend categories, ensuring adherence to internal policies, delegated authorities, and regulatory expectations within a financial services environment.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting procurement processes including requisitions, purchase orders, contract administration, and supplier onboarding activities.
- Acting as a first point of contact for supplier queries relating to onboarding, purchase orders, and payments.
- Maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation in line with governance, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Assisting with supplier due diligence checks, compliance reviews, and risk assessments.
- Supporting procurement reporting through Power BI and maintaining accurate procurement and finance system data.
- Helping analyse data to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to support sourcing requirements, resolve issues, and provide guidance on procurement processes and systems.
- Supporting the implementation of sustainable, ethical, and responsible procurement practices.
Essential Criteria
- Experience from an administrative, procurement, finance, or commercial support role.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
- Confident using Excel (look ups, pivot tables) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Organised, methodical, and process-driven approach.
