About the Role

Looking to build your career in finance and financial reporting?

We're seeking a Financial Reporting Administrator to join our Financial Reporting team in a varied and rewarding junior-level role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some finance or accounting experience who is eager to develop their skills within a supportive environment where full training will be provided.

You'll play a key role in supporting reporting processes, reconciliations, statutory accounts preparation and a variety of finance projects within the team, while gaining valuable exposure to financial reporting and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Financial Reporting Administrator, you will:

  • Prepare supporting working papers and financial documentation.
  • Match invoices to receipts and carry out reconciliation activities.
  • Post financial journals as required.
  • Support intercompany settlements and transactions.
  • Assist with the preparation of management accounts.
  • Compile and maintain finance controls documentation.
  • Support the preparation of statutory accounts.
  • Assist with the tagging and submission of statutory accounts.
  • Support the production of regulatory returns.
  • Assist with finance-related projects, process improvements and change initiatives.
  • Conduct investigations and provide support for ad hoc finance activities.
  • Manage high volumes of invoice processing while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

About You

We're keen to hear from individuals who are organised, detail-oriented and eager to learn. You may currently be working as a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar.

  • Basic accounting and finance process knowledge.
  • Understanding of statutory accounting principles.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Previous experience using finance systems (any ERP or finance software).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
  • Quick learner with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Financial Services industry experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
