The main purpose of the role is to provide regular management information to support in the overall management of Client Liaison, produce data for regulatory reporting purposes and to provide ad hoc information to external departments when requested. In addition, to review and analyse Client Liaison data to assist with the Root Cause Analysis function and ad hoc Client Liaison projects as required. The role holder will also develop, build and implement robotics processing into Client Liaison, working alongside an external project team if needed.

What you\’ll be doing

  • Deliver regularly scheduled MI for Client Liaison management within agreed SLA
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests for MI from Client Liaison management and external departments
  • Support the production of fortnightly and six-monthly regulatory reporting to FCA
  • Produce and maintain various departmental spreadsheets and dashboards
  • Review and analyse various Client Liaison data (e.g. FOS decisions) to assist in report writing and to support the Root Cause Analysis half yearly reporting
  • Maintain appropriate procedure documents for relevant MI tasks and assist in completing an annual review to ensure these remain fit for purpose
  • Maintain existing robotic automation processes within Client’s Liaison while seeking further opportunities to utilise automation in reporting and case processing
  • Assist in maintaining the Client Liaison complaint system (Respond)

Who we\’re looking for

We are seeking a diligent analyst with strong MI reporting and data analysis skills, particularly in Excel and Power BI, to support Client Liaison through regular reporting, regulatory submissions, and ad hoc data requests. The ideal candidate will be adept at interpreting sophisticated dashboards, maintaining data integrity, and identifying automation opportunities to improve reporting and complaint handling processes. Experience in financial services and knowledge of regulated complaint handling or financial products such as pensions and investments is desirable but not essential.

Essential

  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of data integrity
  • Excellent knowledge of MI tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI with a good understanding of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and experience in designing and building dashboards and integrating MI into presentations
  • Ability to navigate and interpret existing PowerBI dashboards that contain multiple data tables and relationships
  • A working understanding of other MI and presentation tools, such as Microsoft PowerPoint

Desirable

  • Good understanding of regulated complaint handling within financial services
  • Understanding of life, pension, investment and mortgage products
