About The Role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to support the delivery of financial reporting transformation projects across the business. You'll work closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business, using your technical expertise to help shape high-quality reporting outcomes.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the development of financial reports, including scoping, mapping and productionisation.
  • Contributing to IFRS 18 implementation by documenting technical accounting impacts and supporting practical application.
  • Driving simplification of financial reporting through safe and controlled disaggregation of working papers.
  • Supporting financial reporting activities during the early stages of a potential ERP migration.
  • Providing support to business‐as‐usual activities to enable SMEs to focus on key projects.
  • Assisting the wider Finance team with ad‐hoc projects and initiatives as required.

Who we're looking for:
We're looking for a proactive and technically strong finance professional who brings a deep understanding of financial accounting and reporting. You'll be confident working independently while collaborating effectively across teams, with the ability to interpret complex information and communicate it clearly. A curious mindset, attention to detail and a drive to continuously improve processes will set you apart in this role.

Essential criteria:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong financial accounting expertise.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, including interpreting and applying accounting standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to challenge processes and drive improvements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non‐finance audiences.

Desirable skills:

  • Experience supporting or working on an ERP migration from a financial reporting perspective.
  • Prior experience within the financial services sector.

  • Competitive parental leave (26 weeks full pay).
  • Private medical insurance (optional taxable benefit).
  • 10% non‐contributory pension (increasing with length of service).
