About the role

We're looking for an experienced Marketing Consultant to join our team, providing strategic marketing expertise and specialist support to Partner Practices, Advisers and support teams across the Partnership. As a trusted adviser, you'll work closely with business owners and key stakeholders to understand their objectives, challenges and growth ambitions, delivering tailored marketing recommendations that drive measurable results. You'll act as a senior escalation point for complex marketing enquiries, lead bespoke consultancy projects and help shape wider marketing initiatives through the insights and expertise you bring to the team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded marketing professional who enjoys solving business challenges, influencing senior stakeholders and delivering consultancy-led support that makes a real impact.

What you'll be doing

  • Deliver strategic marketing consultancy and specialist support to Partner Practices, Advisers and support teams across the Partnership.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for complex marketing enquiries, providing expert guidance, recommendations and practical implementation plans.
  • Lead bespoke marketing consultancy projects, helping stakeholders find opportunities to enhance marketing effectiveness and support business growth.
  • Conduct one-to-one consultancy sessions with Partners, advising on marketing strategies, client acquisition, client retention and business development opportunities.
  • Analyse business objectives, challenges and market opportunities to develop tailored marketing solutions and recommendations.
  • Use insight, market knowledge and consultancy expertise to identify trends, drive continuous improvement and influence wider team priorities.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of broader marketing programmes, initiatives and thought leadership activities.
  • Champion brand, governance and regulatory standards, ensuring marketing activity aligns with business requirements and industry expectations.
  • Build positive relationships with stakeholders across the Partnership, providing credible advice and constructive challenge where appropriate.
  • Use data, insight and performance measures to inform recommendations and support effective decision-making.

About you

You're a highly experienced marketing professional with a strong consultancy approach and a passion for helping businesses achieve their growth ambitions. Comfortable working with senior stakeholders, you're able to quickly understand complex challenges, provide strategic advice and translate marketing concepts into clear, practical actions. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while delivering outstanding service and building positive relationships.

Essential criteria

  • Significant experience in a senior marketing, marketing manager or consultancy role, with a proven track record of developing and delivering successful marketing strategies, plans and campaigns.
  • Broad marketing expertise across client acquisition, client retention, referral marketing, events, communications, digital marketing, content marketing, brand management and campaign delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and consultancy skills, with the ability to influence, challenge constructively and present recommendations with clarity and confidence.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business challenges, find opportunities and develop commercially focused marketing solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.

Desirable skills

  • Experience providing marketing consultancy, advisory support or strategic guidance to business owners, advisers or senior colleagues.
  • Previous experience within wealth management, financial services or another regulated industry, with an understanding of the regulatory environment and client engagement challenges.
