The role

We are seeking a highly proactive and diligent team member to join our driven Governance, Risk & Controls function. This role plays an important part in supporting the oversight of Appointed Representatives by carefully monitoring controls, analysing data, and ensuring accurate, timely reporting throughout the business. You'll work closely with a variety of internal collaborators, using insight and Management Information (MI) to identify risks, improve processes, and ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who demonstrates curiosity, analytical thinking, and confidence in working with data to tell compelling stories. You'll be highly organised with a strong sense of accountability and a proactive outlook, comfortable engaging with people at all levels. A collaborative teammate, you'll bring a positive, can-do approach and a genuine interest in risk, governance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Running key governance processes, including the oversight of the fee charging inbox and recording approvals
  • Monitoring outstanding documentation and proactively liaising with collaborators to ensure timely completion
  • Crafting and maintaining MI and dashboards in Salesforce and other reporting tools
  • Analysing data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement
  • Supporting thematic reviews in response to risk events and business insights
  • Preparing meeting documents and refreshing risk systems (e.g. Riskonnect)
  • Contributing to risk and control self-assessments and governance reporting outputs
  • Supporting controls testing and client file reviews
  • Maintaining accurate records to support effective oversight and regulatory compliance
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams to drive improvements and manage risk effectively

Essential skills & experience

  • Demonstrated experience working with data, MI, or reporting, with the ability to interpret trends and extract meaningful insights
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI or Salesforce dashboards
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise various tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence engaging a range of collaborators

Desirable

  • Understanding of risk and control frameworks in financial services or wealth management
  • Understanding of FCA regulations, Consumer Duty, or first line risk
  • Exposure to a finance services environment
