About the Role
The focus for this role is to ensure that the organisation is structured and operated in a way that allows it to reach its goals, working at times independently and at times under the direction of a more senior Business Architect, and that processes are fit for purpose. You will be responsible for business‑focused outputs like business capability models, motivation models, and value stream maps under the direction of Senior Business Enterprise Architect.

What we are looking for
We are looking for a Business Architect who is experienced in providing, creating and maintaining key Business Architecture models and artefacts. You will have an outcome‑focused approach and be an effective communicator at all levels.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintain and enrich the key Business Architecture models and artefacts
  • Work within our current emerging frameworks and help shape the future of Business Architecture
  • Support Business Strategy and Roadmaps
  • Business process improvement activities alongside other elements of the design community such as business analysis and business improvement role‑holders
  • Conduct impact assessments to ensure organisational structure and cultures are aligned to changes in processes, systems, technology and tools
  • Expose to Business Architecture, with involvement in key artefacts
  • Partner with business stakeholders to create strategies, visions, and roadmaps
  • Craft and maintain Business Capability Models
  • Create target operating models
  • Understand the interplay between business architecture and other architectural domains
  • Apply good commercial acumen, contributing to business cases and providing a commercial lens on recommendations

Preferably have experience in wealth management or regulated financial services, such as a FTSE 100 UK Retail Bank, Wealth Manager or Fintech.
