Responsibilities

The Change Initiation team are responsible for the effective initiation of change across St. James's Place. The primary purpose of this role is to support the change initiation process by ensuring that all administrative activities are efficiently completed and governed. This is to maintain a comprehensive audit trail and guarantee transparency throughout the process. You’ll collaborate with team colleagues and other stakeholders to understand and support the end-to-end value stream process.

  • Manage Administrative Processes - Ensure all administrative tasks within the change initiation process are completed accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining compliance with governance standards. Use project management tools to administer the workflow of change within value streams.
  • Maintain Audit Trails and Transparency - Ensure that all documentation is maintained to provide a clear and complete record for all change initiatives.
  • Collaborate Across Teams - Work with colleagues within Architecture, Design & Experience and in the value streams to support the end-to-end process and uphold quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and the value streams, ensuring clear communication and alignment with the change process.
  • Support Continuous Improvement - Contribute and support the culture of continuous improvement within the Change Initiation team, promoting efficiency and consistency.

Relevant administrative support experience gained from within professional environments. Able to deliver accurate work and juggle priorities in a fast-moving environment. A confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Able to demonstrate an aptitude for analytical thinking. Highly organised with the ability to multi-task effectively and prioritise own workload. A lateral thinker; ability to identify problems and find solutions. Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams essential. Experience of SharePoint, Power BI and Atlassian Jira desirable.
